BMW lists the S 1000 XR in the “Adventure” category. Except it isn’t the type of adventure you might be thinking of. If you want to ride a supersport bike while sitting up in a comfortable ADV-type position, this is the bike to consider. If you see a dirt road – stay on the pavement as it will prove adventure enough.
