Indian Motorcycle often references the fact that Sturgis began as an event held by an Indian dealer and the company has frequently used the event as a showcase for their product line and model introduction. So much so that Harley-Davidson brought in the heavy hitters and sponsored the town square. Now comes the latest custom from Indian Motorcycle that riffs on the hillclimber theme – the Black Hills Beast. The bike incorporates both Indian accessories and after-market pieces to achieve a look reminiscent of 1930’s bikes that hit the steep slopes of Sturgis (although we doubt this bike will be doing the same). See the bike in action (sort of) here.
The Beast was not the only Indian custom to come out of Sturgis this year as Roland Sands also released his Geico -sponsored Chief flat track machine.
