Andorra, a tiny country between Spain and France, hosted the Andorra Trial GP, the latest round of the 2016 Trials GP. The images show Team Honda rider and umpteenth world Trial GP champion Toni Bou and his teammate Takahisa Fujinami who currently sit 1st and 3rd in the standings after finishing 1st and 6th in Andorra.
Of the latest round Bou remarked:
I’m very happy for this perfect weekend. I wanted to win here after the trial last year. To have clinched the win both days is very positive. Yesterday the sections were very tricky, but today in the dry, I picked up far less marks. It’s been a very positive weekend for the championship. To live here and be able to work and train here is really good. Adam is really on form and here in Andorra he always makes things difficult. We have worked really hard and I have to thank the whole team for all the help that they have given us to get ahead in the championship. We have to not get distracted and continue with this line. Physically I’m feeling much better.
The Adma Bou refers to is TRS Factory Team rider Adam Raga, a fellow Spaniard, who is only 17 points behind Bou in the 2016 Trial GP standings.
