I’ll take a little more of that. 2016 has proven to be a year where a few of the old favourites in the Harley-Davidson line-up get a little more power under the proverbial hood. Joining the Slim S and the Fat Boy S now comes a late release offering for this upcoming riding season – the Low Rider S. You are correct if you thought that the machine looks both familiar and a touch retro as the bike is said to pay tribute to the performance oriented FXR models of the past. Equipped with a Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 ( the biggest factory engine in Harley’s line-up) the focus is on torque with 115 ft-lbs on tap. To handle the additional power provided by the performance v-twin the bike gets an upgrade in both suspension and brakes. The ow Rider S arrives at dealers all in black – gloss and wrinkle finish – and boasts standard cruise control, drag bars, a small fairing and solo seat. For just a little contrast enabling you to find your new Low Rider S in the dark, gold cast aluminum wheels and a gold tank badge finish off the package. If you are going to buy a new bike because you can’t your hands on a 1977 XLCR Cafe Racer, the new Low Rider S will set you back $19,499.
