KTM announced the two members of the 2016 KTM Thor Racing Team that will be vying for success in the the 2016 CMRC MX National Series which sees it opening round in Kamloops, BC on June 5. Kaven Benoit, winner of two consecutive MX2 titles will be moving to the MX1 class aboard a KTM 450SX-F while Cole Thompson will be racing in the MX2 class on a KTM 250SX-F.

Kaven Benoit – “I’ve been working very hard all winter long down in South Carolina and I’m feeling very good on my new KTM 450SX-F. I know I will be lining up with a lot of talented riders when the series begins on June 5th, but with two MX2 titles to my credit, I feel like I bring some very good experience to the starting gate. I once again have a great team behind me, so hopefully 2016 will be another very successful one.”

Cole Thompson – “Even though we’re still a few months away from the beginning of the Nationals, I couldn’t be more excited to get going. I really enjoyed racing Supercross on the West Coast, but now my focus will be solely on winning the MX2 class this summer. I’m very excited to be working with Thor again and will be ready to race for the opening round in Kamloops.”
