Harley-Davidson enthusiasts have Sturgis, the Ducati guys have World Ducati Week. Rather than a sea of leather it is a sea of red and it will be happening in Misano, Italy on July 1 – 3. What can you accomplish during this homage to the Italian sport bike maker? You can do laps on the track, drag race, join a parade, go to tech workshops, hope your classic Ducati gets a ticket to the heritage show and shine or enter your custom Ducati in a contest. If you are one of the truly young at heart, or as Ducati is now calling them, the Scrambleristi (see example above), there will be the first ever Scrambler Reunion (who knew the Scrambler had been gone – was there time?). This special “Land of Joy” will feature skate boarding, street food, a flat track and non-stop live music and ample opportunity to buy a Scrambler t-shirts.
