A Honda associate won the motorcycle title at this year’s Pikes Peak race proving that going with a good old fashion large displacement sport bike rather than a non-traditional entry can still get the job done. Jeff Tigert, a media coordinator for Honda, was 15 seconds faster than the next motorcycle to the top of the mountain aboard a CBR1000RR. In 2013 Tigert won the lightweight class aboard a Honda CRF450R.
