Roland Sands is a man of all brands. We have within the last year seen him put together great machines for a swath of manufacturers: a bagger for BMW based on a seemingly unlikely donor- the K1600GT, a Pikes Peak race bike for Victory and a board tracker custom for Indian and Geico which all exist amid his many Harley-Davidson based customs. In the latest news Roland Sands appears in one of Yamaha’s Faster Sons videos aboard a tricked out Yamaha flat track styled custom resplendent in Yamaha’s 60th anniversary colours. Much of the action seems to take place in the dry flood canals of the Los Angeles basin – the go-to place for automotive and motorcycle action. What about these canals represents such allure? The seemingly unfetter freedom to do what you wish at whatever speed you want? Whatever it is, it appears to work yet surprising that competing film crews don’t bump into each other while shooting the latest Red Bull, Yamaha or Hollywood film. See Sands with a celebrity appearance late in the video here .
