Down in Austin, Texas there will be a lot of motorcycle excitement with the the MotoGP race at the stunning marvel of excess in Texas motorsport style – COTA. Sure the race is glamorous, jet-setting and expensive if that’s your kettle of fish but there is another event in Austin worth a look. And just if that isn’t enough the show features the Wall of Death with the same vintage bike riding team that so impressed our editor in Sturgis.
I know from experience, Austin is a great place to hang out for a few days, or weeks … months, race or no race. This unique show is just another reason to go. That and the pulled pork sandwiches, brisket, Shiner ……
