After a relatively successful run last year on the famed island course, Victory Motorcycles again plans to be at the Isle of Man in the electric class in 2016 with a new motorcycle called the Victory RR. The new bike said to have 174hp features improved battery technology allowing for increase capacity brought about by improvements to “energy density”. The changes to the battery technology required changes to the bike chassis the most dramatic of which would be a switch from an aluminum spar to steel trellis frame. The rider will be William Dunlop. The electric race takes place on June 8.
