In a surprise move Yamaha has unveiled another new retro themed model the SCR950 which takes the 942 cc air-cooled V-twin from the Bolt and sticks it in a scrambler themed chassis with an upright riding stance which in itself will appeal to riders who want a little more comfort than provided by the low slung Bolt. Features of the bike include a flangeless tank, 5 speed transmission connected to a bet drive,blocky rubber on aluminum spoke rims and old school graphics and colours. Yamaha is ready to feed the customizing beast with a long list of accessories for the bike that range from leather saddlebags to a myriad of brass trim items, a skid plate, performance shocks and windshields.
