Touring aspects of this motorcycle include switchable ABS, an automatically adjusting suspension system, variable ride modes, and aluminum-covered panniers. Also targeted to long journeys are the adjustable oversized windshield, hand guards, tubular side and engine guards, extra LED lights and spoked wheels.
Aprilia Caponord 1200 Travel Pack
As part of the Caponord 1200 Travel Pack, the forks and shock absorber are electronically controlled by Aprilia’s Dynamic Damping system. Touring conveniences of the bike include 29-litre colour-matched sidebags, a full LCD instrument panel, an adjustable windshield and a centre stand. Its engine is a 125-hp, 1197cc V-Twin.
Aprilia Tuono 1100 Factory ABS
A revised electronics package includes Bosch’s cornering ABS, as well as traction, wheelie, and launch control systems. Further refinements are Aprilia’s Quick Shift that allows gear changes without closing the throttle, and the Pit Limiter feature that’s used to select a top speed in pit lanes at track environments.
